How "STEM-focused" was determined
We scanned each school's curriculum, programmes and activities pages for explicit STEM signals — terms like robotics, coding, IB MYP, Lego League, Science Olympiad, engineering and cybersecurity. A school is included in this list when at least two of those signals appear, which filters out one-off mentions and keeps schools that visibly invest across multiple STEM activities.
The signal is broad. A school here might run a full robotics academy or simply have a weekly coding club and a science extension subject — the filter does not distinguish. Use it as a starting point, then verify on the school's own pages.
The table only displays school-site summaries when the source text is clean enough to reuse. That is deliberate: missing summaries are safer than publishing crawl noise that a school would reasonably view as misleading.

Frequently asked questions
Are these the “best” STEM schools?
No. The safer reading is that these schools visibly publish multiple STEM-related signals. That usually suggests some level of investment, but it does not prove programme depth, staffing quality, or outcomes. Those are exactly the details a family should verify with the school.
Why are some obviously STEM-oriented schools missing?
The most likely reason is coverage, not absence of STEM. Some schools describe their offering in language outside the current keyword set, some relevant pages may not have been captured cleanly, and some mentions are too weak to clear the evidence threshold. In other words, absence from this page should not be read as proof of weak STEM provision.
What does a school summary on this page actually mean?
It means we found a reusable sentence on the school’s own site that looked specific enough to show publicly. It should be read as a source-backed clue about how the school presents itself, not as a complete editorial profile.
